How to care for your willow furniture
If you are to keep your furniture outside we recommend that a high-quality
waterproofing agent that has boiled linseed oil in it be used at least once a year,
depending on how wet your climate is. We like to use the Behr brand. The
waterproofer is primarily to keep bugs out rather than water off of the furniture,
specifically, wood borers and ants. I know of no guaranteed way to keep the pests
out but we have had superior success using the Behr brand.
From time to time your furniture will need dusting. Just take it outside and turn
the garden hose on it.
If you keep your furniture outside, we recommend that it not be allowed to get wet and
then freeze during the winter.
